Our Mission
Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the country and nothing reflects that better than the local food culture.
Over the past several decades, the multitude of Houston's culinary traditions have merged and evolved into a style unique to our city. From Indian to Latin and Vietnamese to traditional Texan fare, Houston offers a unique fusion of flavors that celebrates its melting pot of cultures.
Houstonians palates have evolved, too. The city is known for adventurous eaters that don’t discriminate between fine dining or casual spots.
For all these reasons, Houston has squarely stepped into the national spotlight as a culinary contender. Our goal is to honor and explore this special culinary heritage that is wholly singular to our city.
